The Future of

RUSH

RUSH will be a unique place in Rotterdam! This will be a community of students, predominantly, offering around 350 apartments and a mix of communal and commercial hospitality facilities specifically catering to the tastes of start-up entrepreneurs and students. RUSH will be the place to call your first home where the focus is on meeting new people, a place where you will meet friends for life.

The Future of RUSH

RUSH will be developed by Van der Vorm Vastgoed and will be located in a prominent place at the Brainpark, right across from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and next to the Novotel at the entrance of K.P. van der Mandelelaan. The project involves the construction of various types of student accommodation. As soon as you are enrolled in college, you can move into one of the modern studio apartments with a private bathroom with shower and toilet. You will share the open-plan kitchen/living room with your flatmate. Once you have completed your Bachelor’s degree, you will move to your own, highly finished studio apartment. After graduation, you can move on to a luxury one-bedroom apartment with a balcony, or a modern city loft with a seven metres high atrium.

Life at RUSH offers many extras. Amenities will include a stylish rooftop lounge with outdoor fitness space, several communal workspaces and study areas, and a communal launderette. The RUSH community manager will always be there to help you. We even have a bike mechanic to help you repair or replace a punctured tyre! Imagine all this in a lively environment where you are among friends day and night, where people help each other and build great networks that will pave the way for a bright future.

In developing these units, net zero construction is the norm for Van der Vorm. The great advantage for the students is that these high-performance units will remain affordable as the students have zero energy costs. The peace of mind this affords will hopefully make for a carefree student life.
